Step into an evening of elegance, culture, and Roaring Twenties glamour as the Filipino American Society hosts its 13th Annual Fundraising Gala on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the Sheraton West Des Moines Hotel.
This formal, adults-only event is a special night to celebrate Filipino culture, community, and the continued mission of the Filipino American Society while raising funds to support our programs, outreach, scholarships, cultural events, and community partnerships.
Guests will enjoy a plated dinner with a choice of Roasted Sirloin, Mediterranean Chicken, and Eggplant Parmesan. The evening will also include entertainment, recognition of community leaders, and the presentation of this year’s Bayanihan Awards to Joemari Felarca and Paul Smith.
This year’s theme is 1920s elegance, so guests are encouraged to embrace the spirit of the evening with formal attire inspired by the glamour, style, and sophistication of the Roaring Twenties.
